What your account stores

WINGS COMPUTER stores the name, email, optional phone number and delivery address you provide, together with account creation/update timestamps. Your password is stored as a password hash.

Why we store it

Your details let you sign in, manage your profile and save one delivery address. You can edit your name, phone and address from My account. The storefront can prefill these details while you are signed in. COD orders store an order snapshot of your contact details, delivery address, products, prices and fulfilment/payment status. Only you and authorised business administrators can view your orders. Online payments are not enabled.

Cookies and sign-in

A session cookie keeps you signed in. Sessions expire after two hours without activity, or twelve hours after sign-in. Login and registration attempts are rate limited using hashed IP/email identifiers. During sign-up, the customer can verify by email or, when enabled, SMS. SMS verification confirms the phone but does not confirm ownership of the email address, which remains the login ID. Marketing messages are not sent.

Optional address lookup

If you use PIN lookup, the PIN is sent through our server to Pincode API and postal results may be cached. If you choose “Use my location” and permit browser location access, fresh device coordinates are sent directly to BigDataCloud to suggest your locality, city, state and available postcode. Coordinates are not stored in your customer profile by this feature. You may decline and enter details manually. Suggestions are approximate; review them before saving.

WhatsApp verification

If you choose WhatsApp OTP, we verify your WhatsApp number and store your preference, number and verification time. Your number and authentication code are sent to Meta WhatsApp Business Platform to deliver the code. You can remove this preference in My Account. WhatsApp verification is an optional account preference and is not used for registration.

Email verification

When selected, we send verification codes to your account email for registration and order confirmation. Email codes expire after 5 minutes. If SMS is enabled, you may choose it for registration, mobile verification, checkout or password recovery. In manual mode, an administrator sends the code from a phone; manual codes expire after 10 minutes and allow up to five attempts. Verification records and send limits are retained briefly to prevent abuse.

Help, corrections or account deletion

Contact support@wingscomputer.in or call 7605821854. An administrator can remove a customer account/profile. Orders, invoices and estimates are retained; contact or billing details copied into those records or invoice PDFs may remain. Requests require identity verification by WINGS COMPUTER.
